11:08- POSTERS- incentive to put up the most posters is 10 DECA dollars to spend at the student store!
Thespian Festival- March 20th+21st, payment is due that week at the business office. Show up at the light rail (more information in packet, drop by Mrs. Pottingers room if you missed it)
WIPS- (work in progress)- we are performing Belly Up to the Bar, Boys with no costumes or anything
11:14- Spring Pep March 25- performing Belly Up for the school
11:16- Union Presentation in the career center with Mrs. Workman and president of the Shoreline education union will speak about unions and
Madrona Elementary school performing The Wizard of Oz at 7:30 on March 26th

You should have an email from Mrs. Pottinger on how to submit, what you can submit etc. please email me if you don't have that email and are wanting to submit something.
Shoreline Community College has invited us to watch their musical “9-5” on 2/27. Keep your eyes peeled for an email once we have final details on how to sign up to come!
We are starting our book drive next week! And will have further announcements once we know more but do know the box for the book drive will be in the library
And will run from the 10th - 14th of February.
The Thespian festival is coming up on March 21st and 22nd at the Seattle Convention Center. The cost is more expensive this year due to the two-day event and is 125$ with lunch provided both days.
We will have forms and more information about sign ups soon.

-Tech will have short essay answers to fill out, especially new people.
Blithe Spirit forms are due Dec 9th, field trip is on the 12th of Dec
Thespys are soon, you need to talk to Geo ASAP if you want to do it and haven’t expressed interest yet.

Improv Performances! Shorewood drama is excited to present Theater Sports! Our improv show/competition. Performances will be held on November 18th in the Theater at 7pm and November 19th at Franklin Highschool at 7pm. Come support our team!
People who are involved with One Acts: Rehearsals have started or will be starting soonish so keep an eye out for emails about when your one act is rehearsing!Thespys: Thespys are a theater competition! You HAVE to be a thespian or will be a thespian by January. Sign ups for thespys are due December 13th!
-What can you do for Thespys?
For Acting: You can perform a monolouge, a two person scene, a three or more person scene, a song, a duet, or a dance (either solo or group)
For Tech: Stage manager, Lighting, Publicity, Costuming etc.
Performances and showcases will be January 18th for Thespy
T-Shirts:
We have two types of t-shirts available in the business office for purchase
-Improv Shirts priced at 15$ (says theater is my sport)
-Share the luck shirts priced at 17$ (Share the luck on front and has our season of shows on back
Flowers for Little Women:
During the 10 to 10 this Saturday Owen will assign flower duty Senior priority, then Junior, etc.

-Immersive experience
- take light rail down and then walk to exhibit
- Oct. 18th, Friday
-Turn in by Oct. 14, or whenever 30 forms are turned in

12:24- Improv!! Working with Unexpected Productions in Pike Place, representative coming on Sept. 11 and every Wednesday right after school until rehearsal (at 3:00). You can do improv, or do just the play, or both the play and improv! Improv shows function as fundraisers for our troupe and are super fun to participate in and watch!
12:28- Little Women rehearsals start after school every day from 3:00 to 5:30, Sept-Nov.
12:29- International Thespian Society- requirements etc.
To be a thespian you need 100 hours and 2 areas of theater! (Work parties count and so do 2 areas of tech!)
You can participate in Thespys, the Thespian Festival, and it looks really good on applications!

- How do I sign up for tech?
Both forms (online and physical) are on the callboard by the Blackbox. Fill out both and turn them in to Geo or Mrs. Pottinger (room 2504) by the 16th! - What does the tech schedule look like?
It depends on the department! Some departments start meeting earlier than others, but all of tech will start meeting every day starting on the week of October 28th until 7:00 PM. - Can anyone go to the work parties?
Absolutely!! We welcome anyone, even people who aren’t in drama or who are actors, to come join us at our work parties! The next one is on Monday the 9th in the shop behind the theater
